What is Alpha Theta Sigma?

Founded on March 4, 1939, Alpha Theta Sigma Chapter is the Fort Worth Graduate Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. The Brothers of Alpha Theta Sigma are a community-conscious service organization of leaders that strives to make positive differences in the community. This belief is fostered in carrying out our International Programmatic thrust of Bigger and Better Business, Education, and Social Action.

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded on the principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. The Brothers of ATS strive to live the Sigma motto: "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity."

Alpha Theta Sigma supports national programs such as The Boy Scouts of America, The March-of-Dimes, and The American Cancer Society. Chapter projects include Coats for Kids, The Calvin Littlejohn Bigger and Better Business Awards Banquet, C. Y. Thomas Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament, The NAACP, Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce, FWISD, sponsorship of The Tuskegee Airmen, plus other civic and service activities.
